Leather cover very worn. Shaken. End papers missing. Contents has foxing. P9 under John Furz is torn as is pgs 17-20. (text is there but pages basically torn in half), p. 358 the last page of book is 18 signs of dying or decaying Christians and not sure if there should be more, there may be a page missing. The table of contents page is located at end of book after p. 353 and list the preachers by name who are included in the book. They are: John Furz, Thomas Walsh, Vincent Perronet, Charles perronet, Richard Boardman, Thomas Olivers, Robert miller, Sampson Staniforth, Edward jackson, William Ashman, Jasper Robinson, Silas Told, and George Shadford. All accounts of these men seem to be complete. The men, contemporaries of John Wesley, were dedicated Christian workers, preachers, and Methodist devotees. Scarce if not rare. ; 12mo 7" - 7" tall; 358 pages
