Original wraps has color illustration of German on cloud with harp. Corners curled, minor chips at edges ,contents clean. NOT seperated from staples, no writing on pagers, etc. Very nice. Pages starting to yellow from age, but art is in great shape. Author was born 1872 and died 1944. He was from a famous British family of cartoonist and illustrators. He did many illustrated books such as The Arabian Nights (1899), Twelfth Night (1908), The Water Babies (1915), etc. He also did many wartime illustrations. This book is protected by an archival quality sleeve to maintain present condition.Rare. ; Comic illustratrions; Oblong 4to 11" - 13; 48 pages
