Walk This Way The Autobiography of Aerosmith (Author Signed), Aerosmith & Stephen Davis
1 Aerosmith & Stephen Davis Walk This Way The Autobiography of Aerosmith (Author Signed)
Avon Books 1997 0380975947 / 9780380975945 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket
Signed by Tyler, Hamilton, Whitford, and Kremer. Does not have Joe Perry. Beautiful scarce collectors grade copy of this book. Dust Jacket now in Mylar Protective Cover and book housed in slipcase. From Aerosmith's heyday in the late 1970s, which they spent "gacked to the nines" (as lead singer Steven Tyler puts it), to the Aerosmith of today--clean, sober, and adored by millions--the band has a long, hard history. Walk This Way chronicles the whole story: drugs, booze, and all.Prefaced with the now familiar rock-star "intervention," when Steven Tyler's loved ones cornered him in his manager's office in 1986, the autobiography traces Aerosmith's twisted road, from their New Hampshire roots to their success in Boston to the worldwide fame that they long craved and currently enjoy. Tyler kicks off this rock & roll exposé, briefly recounting the history of his ancestors in Italy and sharing incidents from his own Northeast childhood. The book is written in interview style, with all five band members talking candidly about the good times--and the bad. We also hear from girlfriends, wives, friends, and various hangers-on. Scarce if not rare.; Photographs; 9.40 X 6.40 X 1.50 inches; 513 pages; Signed by All Authors

Inscribed, "For Carol, Joseph Bruchac". Excellent condition. Bruchac ( Native American Stories ) draws on an imaginative mix of Native American tradition and historical facts to craft this lyrical first novel, set about 10,000 years ago in the area now known as New England and the maritime provinces of Canada. As the Ice Age recedes, the People of the Dawn Land (the Abenaki) enjoy an idyllic existence, with people in 13 villages living in harmony with one another and with all creation. Their loyal dogs have an almost telepathic link to their human keepers. Then a mysterious threat darkens the horizon. Have the Cannibal Giants returned? The heroic Young Hunter is dispatched on a desperate, dangerous journey to meet the enemy, and takes with him a new technology, the bow. Fluidly and to poetic effect, Bruchac incorporates tales from the oral traditions of the Abenaki and other Northeastern tribes. ; 0.75 x 8.5 x 5.75 Inches; 332 pages; Signed by Author

A reprint version of Oblivion Falls, the only novel by Mildred Deakin who disappeared shortly after its publication, quickly becomes the hottest book around, an Oprah's Book Club selection and a New York Times bestseller. At the height of the media frenzy, a reporter who discovers the reclusive author on a goat farm in upstate New York, is found dead in her driveway. Would the once-notorious Milly Deakin shoot to kill in order to protect her privacy? The intrepid Professor Pelletier deploys all her literary and investigative skills to exonerate the now-embattled older woman and restore her hard-won peace. ; 0.97 x 9.55 x 6.4 Inches; 272 pages; p; Signed by Author
