Vol 1, 151 pgs.- Astronomy- in overall good condition does have cracked hing at spine and 3/4 inch missing piece at top. Contents clean with engraving of boy looking through telescope. Some yellowing pages of all volumes. Vol. 2- Elements of Geography, in very good condition with 115 pages, has engraving of boy sitting in fathers lap and world globe on table. Vol 3, Mythology, 157 pages, Has engraving of father showing child Greek statues, Vol 4, Ancient History, has 163 pages, with engraving of Mother showing daughter Egyptian artifiacts, some staining to end papers and page edges but not into text of pages, Vol. 5, Modern History, has engraving of Father showing son a Map, 148 pages. Vol 6, Chronology, has 143 pages and has an engraving of women and man who looks to be Muslim. This book has a running history by date and events. All volumes have former owners name written neatly in front. Overall condition ranges from good to verygood.
